Addiction does not happen only to the unfortunate.  There are many people of great stature with positions in the community, provincial levels as well as federal levels that are affected by this within themselves and their families and or friends.  Addiction in the "blue collar" industry is affected strongly.  The sad stories of individuals having to live on the streets are not necessarily the majority.  Many companies may be very unaware of this crisis which addiction of drugs or alcohol has affected a employee.

Addiction of drugs and or alcohol is very much a family crisis.  Drug and alcohol situations are not always talked about openly within families.  By getting the addiction awareness  to families, employers and society is of utmost importance.

Addiction awareness needs to be top priority. Please help affected families get informed of the dangers of drug use.
